Get ready to fold, cut, and launch! In this hands-on class, students will explore the science of flight through fun, engaging activities that involve making paper airplanes, spinning helicopters, and floating parachutes. As they design and test their creations, students will learn basic principles of aerodynamics, gravity, lift, and drag. Each session will focus on building a different flying device, with plenty of time for experimentation, improvement, and friendly competitions. Whether you're a future engineer or just love things that fly, this class is the perfect blend of creativity, science, and fun!
